LABELS FOR EDUCATION
Save TRASH FOR CASH! Those labels and box tops can bring much needed money for educational supplies to University Elementary School. We need Campbell labels, Community coffee UPCs, General Mills cereal box tops, and General Mills logos from Betty Crocker products to name a few. Each label or boxtop will count 10 points. Check the product and you will see the Labels for Education or Box Tops for Education words on it.
If you have a Target charge card , they will contribute 1% of all your purchases to our school. Sign up for this “Take Charge of Education” program by calling 1-800-316-6142 or indicating on your charge card application. If you purchase from a Betty Crocker Catalog, they will contribute 2% of your purchases to our school in the form of box tops. As an incentive, they are doubling that % until December 20, 2001. Put your labels in a Zip Lock bag with your name on the front along with your teacher’s name and turn this in to your teacher. Soup labels and cereal box tops trimmed and in groups of 5 or 10 will give us double credit.
Our contest this year will have awards for the top three students in each grade, the top class, and the top three faculty or staff members, and a grand prize for the top student participant in the school. Start saving and good luck. Thanks for the TRASH FOR CASH for our school!
SHOPPING ONLINE
Our school gets points for free technology every time you shop online. The site is www.Technology4Kids.com . This “Internet Mall” will automatically earn our school up to 20 % of every purchase toward free educational technology. You will purchase from some big names like Amazon, JC Penney, Lands’ End, and The Gap. It takes only about 30 seconds to register our school when you go to that site. You can even tell your friends and relatives who shop online about this.

MONEY FOR INK CARTRIDGES
Students brought home a list of the many empty ink cartridges we can turn in for cash to use in our technology program. Some of the more popular empty in cartridges that have been turned in are Hewlett Packard, Epson, and Cannon. Send any kind you have. It will be better for us to have to discard one that can not be sent in than for you not to send it at all.
Once again, we appreciate those of you who have already been sending us empty cartridges. |
