Dixie Belle Goes to the Woods

Dixie Belle poses to open this journal marking her first day in the woods.

And now, she's off to the races! (Actually these pics are out of order, she didn't pause for a photo until she'd ran herself into the ground. *grin*)

The next few shots are Dixie and Rocky fetching the tennis ball.

Rocky beat her to the ball every time. In this one, Dixie had given herself a head start by not staying at the "stay" command. A puppy has to do what a puppy has to do sometimes.

Rocky takes a short break and Dixie gets a chance to go after it by herself.

"Yes, indeed, Mama," Dixie says, "I'm a lab! Look at me take to this water."

Phil and Phillip head off to take down the deer stand. The season's over...

I love this shot of Phil and Dixie Belle.

This is what we call the clearing. You can see one of the guys' deerstands in the background.

Here are a couple more shots of Dixie posing for me.

What has your attention, Dixie?

Phillip, Rocky and Dixie decide to investigate the creek.

"This puppy is gonna crash when she gets home," Rocky says to himself.

Rocky at a full gallop.

Time for a water break, huh, guys?

Rocky, Phillip and Dixie Belle--what a great trio.

Have I told y'all how much I love this man?

One last shot of me with my canine buddies. It was a great day in the woods. Until next time...~Hugs, Shellie
