Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Lorell Wilson, 78, of Homer was at 11 a.m. Thurs, Dec 4, 1997 at Sharon Baptist church with Bro. C. L. Foxworth officiating, assisted by Dr. Bruce McGee. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Mineral Springs, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Daulton Wilson, Sr.

Survivors include her sons: s. D. Wilson, Jr. of Natchitoches, and Steve Veldon Wilson of Homer; daughters: Geraldine Wilson Rupert of Haynesville, Christine Lazenby of West Monroe and Doyce Houck of Ruston; sister: Lois Nick of West Monroe; brother: Howard Revel of Mineral Springs, La.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Jeff Lazenby, David Lazenby, Tracy Houck, Nathan Wilson, Bradley Wilson, Scott Wilson and Michael Lunsford.
