Services for Mr. Mike J. Luffey, age 81, of Monroe, will be 3 P.M. Monday, September 21, 1998 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Eugene Kimble and Rev. Eugene Kimble and Rev. Howard Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Luffey died September 19, 1998 at his residence.

Mr. Luffey was a native of Jeanerette, La. He had been a resident of Monroe since 1930. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was retired from Luffey's Medical Supply. He was a member of the Reveille United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Clara Mae Luffey of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Sharon Luffey of Germantown, TN; daughter and son-in-law: Frances and Robert Rhone of Monroe; grandson: Michael Luffed, Jr.; granddaughter: Rebecca Luffed, both of Germantown, TN; 3 brothers: Isaac Luffed, John Luffed, George Luffed; 2 sisters: Mrs. Annie Kinked, Mrs. Zebra Tompkins, all of Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home and from 9 A.M. until funeral time Monday.
