JIGGER, LA - Services for Mr. Donald (Don) E. Harris, Sr., age 56 of Jigger, LA, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 1997 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro, LA, with the Rev. Don Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in the South Central Cemetery, near Wisner, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Harris died: November 19, 1997 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. Mr. Harris was a self employed appliance repair businessman. He was also a well known entertainer for more than 30 years.

Survivors include two sons: Donald E. Harris, Jr., of Alabaster, AL, Robert W. Harris of Hoover, AL; one daughter: Julie Anne Harris of Wesson, MS; father: Richard Woodrow Harris of Jigger; mother: Beatrice Keener of Pascagoula, MS, fiancee: Sylvia Sellers of Ruston; three sisters: Woody Sue Smith of Stonewall, LA, Kathy Armstrong of West Monroe, Cindy Keeney of Jigger; two brothers: Richard Keener of Jackson, MS, Kenneth Keener of Houston, TX; and three grandchildren: Dillon M. Garcia, Daniel Harris, and Ethan Harris. Pallbearers will be Billy Morris, Donnie Morris, Mike Martin, Al Harris, Gene King, and Billy Ledbetter.
