Mr. Kennedy died Thursday, December 4, 1997 at Shreveport, LA. He worked for T. L. James for 30 years. He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Kennedy of Choudrant; one daughter: Debra Kennedy Causey and her husband, William, of Choudrant; two sons: David Kennedy of Ruston, and Dennis Kennedy and his wife, Carol of Lafayette; five grandchildren: B. J. Kennedy, Stacey Kennedy, Jake Kennedy, Jessica Kennedy, and Lindsey Maricelli.

Pallbearers were Terry Cupid, Willie Hill, Jimmy Davis, Jerry Davis, Paul Faulkner, Harry Nicholson, Lamar Hancock, and David Bolin. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Baker and David Cupid.
