Walter Ellis Baker
2/24/23~1/6/03
We love you and we miss you — Your Family
It's been three years since that day that God called you home — He called you away
To a land of milk and honey, to a place where there is no hurt, no pain
Only streets paved in gold, no memories of sadness, no growing old
To the waiting embrace of loved ones already there, God called you up to be in His loving care
A day does not go by that we can't hear your voice or see your face
Our comfort is to know that you are living in God's Grace
He's building a mansion for us — so our turn we'll have to wait
Until He calls us up to our Eternal Home, So be waiting for us there at the Gate

The time has flown by since the day God called you home to rest. Everyone knew how tired you were and for those two years we were truly blessed. We thought we had said everything we needed to say, although, we come up with much much more every single day. We keep close to us the memories that there are so many of, even though we know you are smiling from up above.
