MATTHEWS CEMETERY

Located on back of Buddy Williams' Farm on Cherry Ridge Road; prior old Jim
Futch Place. There are several tombstones left standing. Legion has it that
it was a very large cemetery on a crossroad at one time. For years it was in
a forest with trees grown over the graves. Now it is a small area with a
barbwire fence around it in a pasture.
