| "6 Hindrances To The Life God Has For You" |

| 1) "The Blind Receive Sight" [spiritually blind] |
|
There are some that have been blinded by the enemy. They are looking for the answers to life in other areas (cults, false religions, the occult, etc.,...) because Satan has blinded them to the things of God. But, Jesus has come to bring light to the blind eyes and to show us/them that He is the answer to all we/they are looking for (see John 8:12; 14:6). |

| 2) "The Lame Walk" [cares of life have made these invalids] |
|
Jesus tells us in Matt. 11:28-30, we can rest in Him and allow Him to carry our crippling load. Why? Peter tells us that He cares for us (1 Peter 1:5:7). If you are struggling under a crippling burden, give it to Jesus and let Him carry it for you! And let him give you His burden that s easy and light to bear. Why is it easy and light? Jesus helps us carry His yoke, too! Remember, His is still the Master of the storm! (see Luke 8:22-24). |

| 3) "The Lepers Are Cleansed" [cleansed from the leprosy of sin] |
|
Leprosy was a death sentence. Once you got it, you would go outside the city to a leper colony and waited to die. Before Jesus touched our lives we were spiritual lepers, we were under a death sentence, but, Glory To God, Jesus has cleansed us with His blood and we are completely and totally healed and restored to the place in God's family that we were originally intended to be. (see 1 John 1:9) |

| 4) "The Deaf Hear" [listening to God] |
|
There are so many things calling for our attention, that we can be "spiritually deaf" to the voice of the Master! It's time you and I start listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit again!!! If we will allow Him, Jesus will take away our spiritual deafness so that we can hear the voice of our loving Shepherd! God is speaking to His people - but are we |
listening??? (see John 10:11) |

| 5) "The Dead Are Raised Up" [spiritually dead] |
|
There are many in the church of Jesus, the Lord of Life, that are "spiritually dead." They are going through the motions, they are playing at being a Christian, but they are dead. The sad part of this is that many don't even know the difference, they believe everything is ok, they are like Samson. He didn't even know that the Spirit of God had departed until it was to late (Judges 16:20). Jesus can speak life into that dead soul. He wants us to live life to the fullest and to be fulfilled with our life in Him. (see John 10:11) |

| 6) "The Poor Have The Gospel Preached To Them" [the gospel is for everyone] |
|
The church leaders of Jesus day, the socially prominent, and wealthy received the attention of the religious leaders. The poor, uneducated, and those who were less than the cream of society were forgotten, unfortunately, this is often the case today, God forgive us! But, Jesus is telling the disciples of John that everyone is of value (Rom. 2:11 - "God doesn't have any favorites" CEV) and that anyone can receive the Gospel and be saved, regardless of social status, money, or anything else, because God looks at the heart. (see Rom. 10:13; 1 Sam. 16:7) |

| Conclusion |
|
| Today you can be set free from whatever it is that is keeping you from living the life that God has for you. Today you can have: |
|
| 1) your spiritual eyes opened, |
| 2) that heavy burden removed, |
| 3) cleansing from the diseases of sin, |
| 4) your spiritual ears opened so that you can hear from God, |
| 5) real, abundant life and begin to live life to the fullest, and |
| 6) the Gospel in your heart. You need Jesus to save you and make you new. |
|
| Whatever it is that you need, Jesus is here to save, help, heal, and deliver. Will you come and let Him do what only He can do? |
