Jay has been a member of the 527th Engineer Battalion of the Louisiana National Guard since 2001, and he is currently employed there full time. In 2003, he served a tour of active duty in the Middle East as a part of "Operation Enduring Freedom". Jay is a 1998 graduate of Ruston High School. Throughout his four years at RHS, he was an outstanding performer for the school's track team. His specialty events during the Spring track season were the 1600 meter (mile) run, the 3200 meter (2-mile) run, and the 4 x 400 meter relay. He still holds the RHS school record for the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:19, a record he set during his sophomore year.

Jay also ran with the school's cross country team during the fall. Ruston High School won the class 5-A Louisiana State Championship in Cross Country in 1995 and 1997. Jay finished 6th place in the 1995 championship meet with a time of 15:49 to help his team bring home the title. And in the 1997 championship meet, he brought home a first place victory and became the Louisiana Class 5-A Individual State Cross Country Champion for 1997.

THIS IS BRIAN HILTON
This is a large graphic file .... please give it a minute to load

Brian is a 2000 graduate of Ruston High School and a 2004 graduate of Louisiana Tech University. He is currently employed in the IT Department of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury here in Ruston. Brian is married to the former Courtney Anderson from Quitman, Louisiana.

Brian played right tackle for the Ruston Junior High football team during his eighth grade year. This was his first real experience at organized football. Although he really enjoyed being on the team, his sport of choice is baseball. During the summer months, he was active in Dixie Boys and Dixie Majors baseball. During the 1996 season, he played second base for the Rotary Club. Brian was the Short Stop for Lindsey's Auto Care during the 1995 season. His team finished the 1995 season in first place in the American League. Following the 1995 regular season, Brian was selected to play on the Ruston American Boys All-Stars team. During the 1997 season, Brian played third base for the Rotary Club in the Dixie Majors. He continued with post-season play by again being selected to play third base on the Ruston American All-Star team.

During Brian's freshman year at Ruston High, he joined the school's Track Team throwing the javelin in the field events. Brian is also an avid golfer (watch out Tiger Woods!) and can be found on one of the local golf courses in his free time.

Brian also has his own web page. Be sure to pay him a visit there.
