Ebbets Field 1913
|
|
Closed in 1957 when the Dodgers moved to LA, Ebbets Field brings back memories of baseball in a purer time. OH, how we loved Robinson, Koufax, Campanella and the others. Yeah, they were "Dem Bums," but they were our boys of summer. This plaque commemorates the 40th anniversary of one of the darkest days in the history of Flatbush. Includes an actual piece of Ebbets brick piece (1" x 1/2") from the Rotunda area (saved and preserved by the demolition company), plus an authentic stadium photo(sepia) and a wonderful history text. Each is hand numbered from the 5000 piece limited edition production. SIZE measures 12 1/2" x 15 1/2"
