Installing

     1.Go to http://files.bayou.com/bayouaccel.exe

2. Once downloaded doubleclick on the bayouaccel.exe file and it will automatically extract the file to c:\accel folder.

3. Go to the c:\accel folder and doubleclick on setup.exe it will then begin the install process.

4. Follow the instructions provided during install and you will be finished.

5. On the first time the program starts it will ask for your username and password “this is the same one used to connect to the internet” you will be able to save the password by clicking on the check box that says “save password” .

6. The installation is now finished.

 

Displaying Status

During the startup process, the Optimization Client performs the following and

displays the outcome via the icon in the system tray:

instructions.gif 1 Displays a red icon indicating the application is running, but optimization is not enabled and searches for an available networking connection.

instructions1.gif 2 Connects to the default network and displays a

changing (pulsing) red icon while trying to establish

connection.

instructions2.gif 3 Establishes connection with the network, starts

optimization, and displays a green icon as soon as it starts

optimization.


Settings

instructions3.gif  If this icon is in the lower right corner of your screen in your task bar you can right click on it stop the service or adjust your settings.

instructions4.gif If this icon is in the lower right corner of your screen you can right click on it and choose start.

instructions5.gif This is what should appear when you right click and choose open. From this screen you can adjust the settings by moving the sliding bar to the left.
