• HOW TO USE THE CITY COURT   This is an (11) eleven page pamphlet that covers subjects from who may use the city court, what kind of suits can be filed in the Ruston City Court, how to begin a suit, what happens after filing a suit, and how to prepare for a trial.  The pamphlet also covers the procedure for doing an eviction.  This pamphlet is furnished free of charge by coming to the Marshals Office, 401 N. Trenton Street (Room 223 City Hall), Ruston, LA 71270 or a copy can be mailed for a fee of $3.00.  Make payment payable to the Ruston Marshal's Office.

• LANDLORD AND TENANT RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES   This pamphlet contains information pertaining to pre-rental check list, lease agreements, late fees, apartment rules, oral agreements, holding of deposits, security/damage deposits & other types of deposits as well as how to assure that the property is properly maintained.  This pamphlet can be obtained free at the Marshal’s Office or can be mailed at a cost of $1.50.
