The Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Louisiana is a temporary home-away-from-home that serves and sustains families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment in hospitals in Northeast Louisiana.
A child's life-threatening illness brings much more than worry and financial hardship; it is a family's most heart-wrenching experience. While we cannot ease the pain sick children and their families experience, we can help lessen their burden. More than just a place to sleep, the Ronald McDonald House provides a warm, safe, and comfortable home for sick children and their families.
To do this, the Ronald McDonald House relies on the love, sharing and caring of hundreds of generous donors and volunteers from the Northeast Louisiana community. We welcome you to the "House that Love Built."
Mission Statement
Illness is an experience that affects everyione in a family. The problems of daily living continue, and minor inconveniences become overwhelming hurdles. During illness families are divided as attention must be paid to the sick, and the small children often feel left out and frightened. As people who have or have had an illness in our families, we CARE.
The Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Louisiana is interested in helping families with sick children. The Ronald McDonald House offers a "home away from home" to families in need of rest from the daily rigors of hospital life.
