Garden Treasures

I hope to add to this page regularly. Over the past 20 years we have had some beautiful treasures and I would love to share them with everyone. I will have to go back before the digital camera and find the other flowers so check back.

2001 - Pink peonie, a gift from my mother. This is the first time I has bloomed and has been put in the ground for next year.

2001 - White peonie, given to me by Mother about 4 years ago. She ordered and I planted it at the back of the porch. It is just beautiful and this is the 2nd year it has bloomed.

2001 - Moon flowers are a beautiful fragrant vine the will grow as long a vine as you can handle. Just keep feeding it along a piece of twice or around a pole and it will just keep growning and blooming. It is much like a clematis, loves the sunshine but wants its feet in the shade.

2001 - The moon flower truly blooms at night and last all night. They are almost fluorescent in the moonlight.

2001 - About 6 o'clock in the evening you can literally see them begin to open and if you stand or sit close by for the next hour, you will see the blooms unfold and the fragrance is wonderful.
